Conrad Hughes Hilton III Belongs to the Influential Hilton Clan Facts about Him

Conrad Hughes Hilton is the second son to carry the name of the man who made the Hilton family fortune. Unlike his namesake great-grandfather, Kathy Hilton's son has yet to make a significant mark on the world beyond scandalous headlines.

Paris Hilton's little brother, Conrad Hughes Hilton, came of age while she was "inventing" the selfie and redefining reality in "The Simple Life." His teens were spent on red-carpet events and in high society with his family, yet very little is public about him.

Represented by OJ Simpson's former lawyer Robert Shapiro, he pled guilty to the assault of flight attendants in 2015. His social media presence is limited to a single photo of him in a luxurious bathroom.

Conrad Hilton Grew up in a New York Hotel

Cathy and Rick welcomed their youngest child, Conrad Hughes Hilton III, on March 3, 1994, in New York City, New York. He is named after his great grandfather, World War I veteran Conrad Hilton, who launched the Hilton Hotels on the back of a single hotel in Texas.

He spent his formative years running around the storied Waldorf Astoria Hotel, which his family owned and lived at for a few years. The youngest Hilton was only in one episode of his sister Paris' reality show, "The World According to Paris."

His aunt Kyle Richards shared a cute anecdote on a "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" episode. One morning she could not find her daughter, Alexia, or Conrad anywhere. They were eventually tracked down in the air-conditioning vent, winning at hide-and-seek against their scared moms.

Conrad Hilton Was Arrested Several Times

Conrad's trouble with the law was first documented when he caused a major incident on a British Airways flight on July 2014, when he threatened to kill multiple flight attendants and called the passengers "[expletive] peasants."

According to the complaint, the socialite told an air steward that he could have them all fired and that his father "paid $300,000 last time." He potentially faced 20 years in federal jail, but with a plea deal, he was sentenced to three years probation and 750 hours of community service.

In August 2014, the then-20-year-old was reportedly involved in a high-speed chase with Californian police before crashing his BMW near Palm Springs. First responders had to pry the seriously injured socialite from his luxury vehicle.

Conrad's court dates clashed with his sister Nicky's wedding when he failed a drug test in April 2015 while out on bail. Ironically, his sentencing for this parole violation coincided with the birth of Nicky's first child in July 2016.

He received two months in jail for admitting to taking recreational drugs while on parole. A source close to the Hiltons said the family was upset but not surprised and added, "Conrad has had a drug problem for years since he was a teen, and it's never gotten better."

The hotel heir violated a restraining order from a former girlfriend in 2017. He was arrested for this offense on May 6, 2017, and for the theft of her dad's Bentley. His multiple outbursts, including uttering a homophobic slur, led to the postponement of arraignment and his being sent to a psychiatric clinic.
