Robin Corddry daughter Laura has been treated for pancreatic cancer for almost two years and no treatment was sufficient to stem this insidious disease.It wasn’t supposed to be like this. There was a plan and there was a backup plan. Both required a little more time. More time for hugs, stories, I love you’s, and good byes. So plans were made and then as result of a couple of strokes last week, Laura was left unable to communicate well, and the plans went out the window and new plans were created for a much shorter timeframe. Laura was able to say the I love you’s and then came home to hospice care and on Friday was transferred to a hospice center in Lincoln.
